OODA Loop?
What's an OODA Loop?
Formulated by American strategist Col. John Boyd, the OODA (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) Loop is a strategic construct used in domains as diverse as sports, war and business.
The object of an actor is to cycle through a loop faster than the opponent, to get inside the opponent's loop. The OODA Loop is a formulation and synthesis of various principles, including the Second Law of Thermodynamics and Heisenberg's uncertainity principle.
